'Sentencing Young People' Engagement Event
The Council is holding an engagement event with a range of stakeholders to help inform the development of its guideline on sentencing young people, one of the key pieces of work announced in its Business Plan for 2015-18.
The event is to be held on Friday, 28 April, and will involve almost 50 organisations and 100 delegates with an interest in young people, from across Scotland.
A report about the day’s discussions will be published on our website following the Chatham House Rule.
Speakers will include representatives from the judiciary, prison service and criminal justice social work, as well as academics and a peer mentor. Judicial partners and the third sector will be strongly represented among the attending delegates who will contribute to workshop discussions.
