Council member appointed as sheriff

The Scottish Sentencing Council’s advocate member Louise Arrol KC has been appointed as a sheriff.

Louise will be based at Glasgow Sheriff Court, and will take up her new appointment from 4 September.

The Council would like to congratulate her on the new role and thank her for the valuable contributions she has made to its work.
