The draft minutes of the Council’s meeting held in Edinburgh on 9 June 2023 are now available.
New members appointed to the Scottish Sentencing Council
Two new members have been appointed to fill vacant positions on the Scottish Sentencing Council. Summary Sheriff Amel Elfallah joins the Council as a judicial member, while Louise Arrol takes on the role of advocate member. Both have been appointed for five-year terms by the Lord Justice General, after consulting the Scottish Ministers.
